PRAYER
I thank you for this reminder of your love
and your call that we be more patient,
gentle and compassionate with others.
Here in the middle of Lent,
I turn to you to beg for your help.
Please soften my heart.
Help me to let go of judging others.
I ask you this, in Jesus' name.
Amen

DRESS CODE
I ask you to please review the school dress code found in the Family Handbook with your child. Identify clothing in their wardrobe that does not fit the dress code and do not allow them to wear it to school. Of particular concern is the length of tops/shirts worn with leggings or yoga pants. Also, students are wearing athletic clothes on Mass days and for Stations of the Cross. Please reference the dress code for guidelines. There will be an update to the dress code shared with you soon that Advisory Committee has worked on and agreed upon.
The purpose of a dress code is to provide guidance to students and parents as to appropriate attire for school and at school functions. A dress code promotes a more serious school atmosphere which emphasizes academics and promotes good behavior. School dress codes are a way to teach students the importance of a respectable appearance which is a lesson that can positively impact their self-respect and self-esteem. Dress codes are needed for safety reasons and to prevent clothes from becoming a distraction in the classroom, and they also prepare students for the working world. And most importantly, it is one way we honor our bodies as a temple of the Holy Spirit.
