Anoka-Hennepin Device Protection Plan- New for 22-23
Technology plays an important role in preparing students for life, and Chromebooks are utilized as a daily learning tool in Anoka-Hennepin middle and high school classrooms. Anoka-Hennepin students in grades 6-12 are assigned a Chromebook from the school district to ensure access to technology systems that support classroom learning.
Over 28,000 Chromebooks will be distributed to students the first week of school. As careful as students and schools are, accidents do happen each year - and hundreds of Chromebooks are returned at the end of the school year with damages.
New to Anoka-Hennepin this year is a Device Protection Plan that is available to parents who have students in 6-12th grade. Read More about the Device Protection Plan and its benefits.

Student Information Verification Reminder
My Student Information
It's important that each family completes the verification process each school year before the first day of November . Verification ensures that Anoka Hennepin Schools has confirmed contact information for each student to ensure schools have access to emergency contact information and information releases for the safety of students. Families may complete the verification on their own time, whenever it's convenient. Even if families contact information has not changed, it's important to log in to access a variety of other student information in the coming weeks, including class schedules and teacher assignments, attendance, school handbooks, and grades. High school students will not be able to enroll in sports/activities until the back to school form process is complete.
Login to A-HConnect to complete back to school forms for the upcoming school year.
- Parents /guardians can access back to school forms by clicking the lock icon and "Login" at the top right corner of any district or school website .
- Then , select , "My Student Information,"
- Then, select, "Online Registration , "
- Then, select, "22-23 Back to School Verification."
CRMS Fall Play- Roshambo!
Coon Rapids Middle School presents their fall play, Roshambo!
Some people take Rock-Paper-Scissors (aka Roshambo) seriously. Very seriously. So seriously they organize championship matches with national rankings.
Lindsay is number two in the country and she is not happy that she lost her top ranking! So...she's not above throwing an illegal scipper. Will she do that to Taylor, the player who took her number one spot? Only time will tell. Except... maybe Taylor's not that enthusiastic about playing, anyway, or is she?
Watch an unexpected player emerge as the students face off in the second annual Roshambo Competition!
Performances will be Thursday & Friday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 2:00 pm in the Coon Rapids auditorium (Room 177). Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the performances. Ticket prices: $5 for adults, $3 for students, and Free for children under the age of 2.
Picture Retakes
LifeTouch photographers will be doing picture retakes on Tuesday, November 1st. These pictures are for students who would like a retake or did not have their picture taken in September. If your student needs a retake, please have them bring their original picture packet with them on November 1.
You may order pictures online at mylifetouch.com with the Picture Day ID of: EVTFR677T
Please contact the main office if there are any questions. 763-506-4800.
CRMS Knowledge Bowl
We have begun recruiting for this year's Knowledge Bowl team. Knowledge Bowl (KB) is a fast-paced, academic competition (after-school here at CRMS and at evening meets that take place at middle schools around the Twin Cities), where students answer questions about history, literature, mathematics, science, current events, and everything in between.
Knowledge Bowl is open to any CRMS 6th, 7th, or 8th grader who wants a challenge, to hang out with smart group of friends, or needs something interesting to do after school on Wednesdays through February!
Our first practice will be at 3:10 on Wednesday, November 9 in Room 157. We meet most Wednesdays until Feb. Students will need to take the late activity bus route or have a ride home after each practice at 5:10 p.m. Come ready to flex your smarts and have fun at KB!
Asian Culture Club
"Hi Falcons, we want to let you know that there is a student group called the Asian Culture Club here at Coon Rapids Middle School. Our first official meeting will be Wednesday, November 2nd at 3:10pm in room #201. The Asian Culture Club at CRMS is an organization that supports API cultural awareness in the community. We encourage a diverse membership of all students in order to promote a safe and inviting space for all to learn about Asian culture. Truancy Laws
Minnesota State Statute (120) requires that children attend school each and every day and every class period.
