With spring comes Track and Field, and our LHR athletes are off to a great start this year. Our Indians have brought home numerous ribbons and medals, and with our highest team score so far coming a third place at the Cooper Track Meet. We have over 80 athletes participating in track between the girls and boys teams combined. That kind of participation speaks to our students dedication and the hard work of our coaches.

We always want our students to feel like their voice is heard and important. After a student brought some suggestions to me about the cafeteria, I worked with Mrs. Kinnard (our fabulous Director of Child Nutrition) to create a survey for all students to complete. Their feedback helped create a cafeteria menu for March that is strongly based on what students want to eat! It might seem like a little thing, but anytime we can give people the opportunity to be heard it creates greater buy in for our school.

Congratulations to our newly selected LH Rather Cheerleaders for the 2023-24 school year. These young ladies put in a lot of time and effort, and I have no doubt they will represent our Indians with pride next year.
