Back To School: Phase 3 - Target Date September 21, 2020
If current health trends continue, FCS will implement Phase 3 on September 21, 2020.
Families will begin receiving phone calls regarding these phases over the next two days. You will also receive a survey from the district very soon. It is IMPERATIVE that you respond to that survey when you get it.
Here is what you need to know right now:
- Phase 3 is an option to reacclimate more students and teachers for a greater length of time within the Face-To-Face (F2F) school environment and to assure students and staff that school is a positive, safe, and loving place.
- Phase 3 is a voluntary opportunity for all students PreK-12 to receive instruction and support, one day of per week.
- Students with Disabilities in Special Education Classes across grades 3-12 will receive instruction and support, two full days per week.
The district will be following the schedule below for regular education students. We look forward to seeing your child(ren) on their designated date and time.
- Monday (Group 1) – A through E
- Tuesday (Group 2) – F through K
- Thursday (Group 3) – L through P
- Friday (Group 4) – Q through Z
**Wednesday(s) will be a normal Universal Remote Learning (URL) day for all scholars. Please follow your URL schedule for the day.
Note: Students will follow their normal Universal Remote Learning (URL) schedule and routine if you do not choose to opt-in to the optional face to face instruction.
In an effort to keep our students and staff healthy and safe, we want to share a few reminders:
- Students will be expected to wear a face covering/mask while at school. Staff are also required to wear face coverings.
- If your child is sick, please keep them at home and make sure they are fever free for at least 24 hours before return.
- If anyone in your household has tested positive for COVID-19 and you have been advised to isolate or quarantine, please adhere to the public health guidance and do not send your student to school until after the noted timeframe.
- Encourage your student to wash hands frequently.
- If your child becomes sick while at school, you will be expected to be pick-up your child immediately.
- Please alert school administration of any COVID-19 related concerns.
Check out this FCS website for details about Face to Face: Phase III
Please feel free to reach out to me at anytime if you have questions or concerns.
Sincerely,

PTA Reflections Program-- " I Matter Because..."
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Due to COVID-19 and Social Distancing we will be doing things differently. All entries need to be turned in virtually to be judged. More info on that close to the due date. But once the items are judged virtually, the winners that will go to the local and state levels will need to be turned in physically for judging. (More on that later)
Some dates and things to remember:
1. Due Date: Wednesday October 14, 2020 for all submissions.
2. Entry Forms: They need to be filled out completely and turned in with the work in order to be judged.
3. Please print and read over the instructions and if you have questions please reach out to PTA at campbellpta18@gmail.com.
Please make sure you read over the instructions because the way some entries are submitted has changed, for example in the musical and photography submissions, they need to be turned in by flash drives and we need 2 flash drives.
That’s it for now, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us at campbellpta18@gmail.com.

Principal’s Letter to Parents Regarding U.S. Census
Principal’s Letter to Parents Regarding U.S. Census Dear Parents/Guardians:
You may have seen recent advertisements or signs around town promoting the U.S. Census. That’s because the U.S. Census is preparing to close at the end of this month. If you have not already responded for your household, September 30 is the deadline. The online process takes only a few minutes and is very straightforward.
Why is the Census so important? Federal, state and local funding, as well as how geographic districts are drawn for elected offices, are determined by population. As communities grow or become smaller, knowing the size of the population becomes important for planning the future. This affects our school’s funding and the resources we receive for special education, classroom technology, teacher training, after-school programs, school lunch assistance, and more. Funding for other community resources, such as healthcare, law enforcement and social agencies also is impacted by Census data.
Fulton County Schools has a special webpage at www.fultonschools.org/Census2020 that may answer general questions you have about the Census and our school system’s involvement. If you have not yet responded to the Census, there is no better time than now. Be counted! Your response to the Census helps our school and community with funding that directly impacts your household.
Thanks for your support
