PRINCIPAL's THOUGHTS
Dear Page Hilltop Families:
We have just finished an amazing month of kindness activities! Each day brought new ways for our students and staff to share random acts of kindness! There were smiles, friendly greetings, happy notes, kindness themed attire and so much more! Page Hilltop truly is a KIND & CARING school community!
Our food drive exceeded the goal we had set as we collected 1196 food items! These food donations are being to the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry and the Stone Soup Kitchen.
Our Penny Coin Challenge was lots of fun for our students. In the end, we were able to raise $3,045.80! THANKS SO MUCH to all of our families for your generous contributions! We will be using some of these funds to donate to a local charity and some to purchase something that all of our students will be able to enjoy. Our Panther Power student leaders will coordinate surveys of all students and staff to determine what the funds are used for.
Thanks to the following students who volunteered to take part in our Kindness Assembly: Aanya K., Ayanna N., Jonathan B., Drew H., Bella W., Jaylynn C., Julie L., Maria A., Scarlet S., Elisa M., Brielle M., Simone S., Isabella S., Sadie M. & Aaliyah M.
The assembly finished up with a wonderful performance of "Count on Me" by the combined Page Hilltop Chorus & ASRHS Chorus.
As fantastic as the past month has been, I am confident that our students & staff will continue to promote kindness in the coming weeks!
Thanks, as always, for sharing your children with us!
