Welcome Back
Our first week is under our belts and the students are settling in to their school routines. There are many things for which I am thankful. They include:
- Drop off and pick up has been extremely smooth. Thank you everyone, for your patience and consideration in the parking lot. As we continue through the year, always remember to look out for kids in the parking lot!
- The check-in process is going well. The students have the app mastered and have been patient with the temperature taking and check off process.
- The teachers report a good first week of school, setting up policies, procedures, and class routines.
- Our WOW (Week of Welcome) was successful with the students socializing through lawn games and "getting to know you" activities....and even a water balloon toss!
We are looking forward to college classes beginning this week and the beginning of the full schedule of classes. If your students have any questions or concerns, please let us know and we will do our best to help.
Have a great weekend.

Attention 9th and 10th Graders
Please refer to the email sent to you this week for instructions. A copy is pasted below under this message.
Hello HS@MC Students and Families! The Moorpark College Dual Enrollment office has generously provided our 9th grade students with an access code for their Spanish M01 course and our 10th grade students with a Psychology M01 textbook! If your 9th grade student has not yet purchased their Spanish M01 course access code or your 10th grade student has not yet purchased their Psychology M01 textbook, they will receive one free of charge on their first day of class.
For those students that have already purchased a code or textbook, please reach out to the Moorpark College Bookstore (if purchased through there) to inquire about a refund. Do not activate your access codes if you plan to inquire about a refund. If you are unable to or unsure of how to return your materials for a refund, please reach out to our main office tomorrow before 4pm or email myself or the Principal to discuss potential options. We cannot guarantee that all purchased materials will be eligible for a refund, but we will do our absolute best to find a resolution if needed. Thank you so much for your time and we hope you are having a wonderful evening!
Attention 11th & 12th Graders
Once you do that, you will be given a pass that allows you to go off campus to get food during lunch. The privilege can be revoked for reason(s) such as not making it back to class on time or poor behavioral choices!
