CHS Daily Announcements

From Student 2 Student:

Join Student 2 Student in some holiday fun. Starting Wednesday and going through Friday there will be several Christmas cougars hidden around campus. Look for them in the hallways during passing periods. When you find one, you may redeem your cougar for a prize in the registrar's office only during your lunch. Look for our flyers for further details!

From the Counseling office:

Students wanting to request a spring schedule change may pick up a Request Form in the Counseling Office. Completed forms are due back to the Counseling Office by Friday, January 10th. Students: your request may not be approved if the change affects your Program of Study, the requested course is full or if you haven't met the prerequisite. This is also the time to request a change in an Honors or AP course. This form is also available in the Counseling Office.

From the Library:

Come to the LRC during lunch on Wednesday for a special Wellness Wednesday. HOSA has compiled information on healthy eating, and you will be able to create your own healthy snack.

FROM CIS:

It's that time of year again, the annual Christmas door decorating contest is back! CIS would love for everyone to participate and bring that holiday spirit! In order to be eligible for the classroom prizes, doors must be decorated by students and/or have significant student contribution. Doors will be judged Friday December 13th!

From Ms. Perez:

The Creative Writing class is now accepting submissions for the Fall 2024 Commentarius. Show off your art and writing to be featured in Cooper's art and literary journal. Join the Google Classroom from the fliers, or ask Mrs. Perez in room 1229 for more information. The last day to submit will be Friday, December 13th.

From Speech and Debate team:

The Cooper Speech and Debate team is selling World’s Finest Chocolate Bars. They will be available at the admin. building during lunches. Cash APP is accepted!

From Boys Track:

If you are interested in running or throwing for the Cougar Track Team this year, come by Coach Keith’s room (1302) or the field house and visit with him before the Christmas break. 1st track practice will be on Jan. 13th. You will need to have a physical and rank-one paperwork done by Jan. 13th to participate.

Christmas Trivia Results:

Results from yesterday’s trivia game are in! Mrs. Harmel’s 2nd period got 1st place, Coach Johnson’s 2nd period got 2nd place, and Coach King’s 2nd period got 3rd place. Hope you enjoyed your donuts this morning!
