Homecoming Information:
Cooper's Homecoming is this Friday, September 13th. The Homecoming Dance will take place on Saturday, September 14th, from 8PM-11PM at the Festival Gardens (out by the Zoo). Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased from any Student Council member. Price is $20 at the gate the day of the dance. Students must present their Cooper ID when purchasing a ticket. Cooper students are allowed to invite one guest, and MUST complete a guest permission form. Permission forms can be picked up in the Cooper Administration Building, and must be returned completed by September 12th@ NOON. All guest tickets must be purchased from Mrs. Espinosa in the Cooper Administration Building. Guests without prior approval will not be permitted in the dance. Guests must enter the dance with the Cooper student who invited them, and present a school or state issued ID at the gate.
From the Librarian:
Do you know someone who has suffered with depression or anxiety? Have you struggled? Be part of sparking positive change. During lunches on Wednesday, September 11th, stop by the front of the library to receive resources for mental health and commit to being part of the solution.
From FCA:
Mark Your Calendars! Join us Wednesday at 7:30 AM in the Library AV room for our FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) meeting! All are welcome—no need to be an athlete to attend so invite your friends. For any questions, feel free to reach out to Coach Pierce, Coach King, Coach Jimenez, or Coach Kevin Johnson. See you there!

Student Chromebook Checkout has begun. If you need a chromebook to use at home and do not already have one from AISD, see Ms. Espinosa or Ms. Mackey in the front office.
From Mr. Wilkerson:
Our college tours are beginning, and sign-up sheets are available in Room #1104. The tours are for Seniors and Juniors. You can take advantage of these FREE tours.
For students applying to UT or Texas A&M, applications open on August 1st, and early bird applications are due on October 15. Please feel free to come by Room #1104 to help with the application.
For CTE students, welding, or any junior/senior student interested in pursuing technical school, we have a Waco TSTC on October 15; sign-up is now available. Stop by Room #1104 and sign up for the free tour.
From Ms. Wilkerson:
To Juniors and Seniors-
Do you already miss summer?!! Well, pack your bags because we're going to Boston and New York next June! Any junior or senior is invited to sign up with Ms. Wilkerson for a US History themed trip next summer. Spaces are limited with room for about 20-25 people exploring historic New England. Sign up with Ms. Wilkerson in room 1120 to register for more information over pricing, fundraising, and the parent meeting on September 16th.
From Mrs. Williamson:
Food deliveries for students from restaurants, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, Door Dash, etc. are not permitted and food will be returned. This applies to any food ordered by students or parents!
Do not exit buildings or fenced areas in order to pick up your food from parents. Parents must meet you in the foyer or leave your food in the foyer of the Admin. Bldg.
Deliveries NOT from parent/guardian will be held and can be picked up after school.
Also, food can only be delivered by people on your student contact list.
Cell Phones:
There is a $15.00 return fee each time your cell phone is picked up and turned into Administration. There is no first time warning or grace period for cell phone violations. This applies to ALL electronic & cell phone devices.
From Admin:
Parking Permits are now being issued. QR’s are posted around campus for non-reserved and Senior Reserve parking. Fill out the permit form and bring your documents to Ms. Cokonougher in the Administration Building during your lunch or reserve period.
