Holy Trinity Families,
This weekend we celebrated First Holy Communion with our 2nd graders! What a beautiful day it was as the sun was shining for this very special occasion. Thank you to Mrs. Hess and Mrs. Waltos for all of their hard work preparing our littles ones for their big day. Also, thank you to all of our moms who volunteered on Friday for our retreat day.
We are coming up on our St. Baldrick's assembly on May 22nd. We are looking at an 8am start time. This event is open to any parents who would like to join us. See the information below for more details. We will send more info as we get closer to the event.
Lastly, we are finalizing enrollment for 23-24. We still have some space remaining in our all day preschool classes. If you know of anyone looking for full time child care/preschool. This class is available for students who turn 4 by August 1. We have limited spacing available in our 1/2 day preschool and intro classrooms as well. Please contact Mrs. Scanlan for more information.
We are also preparing to open registration for a new opportunity for our tiniest eagles. We will be offering a mommy and me class that will be open to those under 3 who are not yet potty trained or eligible for our preschool classes. Mrs. McCann will be running this class. Look for information coming soon and links for registration.
It looks like sun this week after our monsoon! We look forward to getting the kids outside.
Blessings,
Kim Kuchta

Staff Spotlight- Mrs. Martin
Hello! My name is Sara Martin and this is my fifth year teaching at Holy Trinity. I spent the first four years teaching junior high science and this past year I moved into the junior high math role. I love teaching math and my experience in science has helped me to understand how the stem concepts that we are teaching in junior high all fit together. In the classroom, I love seeing students grow in their confidence with math. Too many times I have heard students say "I am just not a math person" but I genuinely believe that we are all math people. It has been very rewarding to see the pride that students have in themselves when they get an answer correct or do well on an assessment.
Before teaching at Holy Trinity, I was a parent volunteer at the school. I have four children, all of whom have attended Holy Trinity. This past year has been particularly hectic at home with three of my kids in high school. My son Patrick is graduating from St. Ignatius and I have daughters, Megan and Caitlin, that attend Magnificat. All are involved in sports at their schools, so weekends are very busy being a mom and fan. My youngest, Sean, is in third grade at Holy Trinity and I cherish the time that I have with him now that I see how fast it really does go. I have been married to my husband, Brian, for 21 years and he too has a career in Catholic education at St. Ignatius High School. When I am not at school, I enjoy walking my dog, Rudy, reading, gardening, and watching my kids in all of their sports. I, also, enjoy a good home improvement project though there has not been much time for that lately...maybe this summer.
