What is the Village PTO Sponsored Jog-A-Thon?
Welcome to the Village Elementary Parent Teacher Organization’s (PTO’s) Jog-A-Thon 2022! Jog-A-Thon is the PTO’s largest annual fundraiser. Families, friends, and neighbors pledge money to support students as they run, jog, walk, or skip laps around the Coronado High School (CHS) track. After missing JAT in 2020 and hosting a virtual event in 2021, we are thrilled to welcome both student and family member volunteers back to the track!
In the past few years, Jog-A-Thon has raised nearly $40,000 each year. This money has gone directly to our school in support of:
● Our beautiful new school library: shelving, furniture, flooring, and books
● Grants to teachers for special class projects and the Meet the Masters Art Program ● The New TK/Kindergarten playground
● A New Village Staff lounge for our teachers and staff to enjoy
● Angela’s Garden – our community access garden
Every dollar donated will go directly towards improving our Village Elementary students’ learning environment.
Who Participates?
All students at Village Elementary, TK through fifth grade, are able to participate.

Volunteering at Jog-A-Thon
We are excited to have family members back on the field to help with Jog-A-Thon! Volunteers are needed to help set up, direct students, hand out water and snacks, lead warm up exercises, cheer on students, and more!
NOTE: All Volunteers MUST complete the volunteer application process in advance. This includes completing the Volunteer Application form and providing proof of TB test/screening. Family members who have not completed the Volunteer Application process can still cheer on students from the stands but cannot assist on the field.
