This is our last full week of school for the semester. Next week only has 3 days before our winter break.

We just want to keep everyone in the loop with changes with office staff. Ms. Kelly Camrud, our previous receptionist, has accepted a position at the HS. We wish her the best of luck in her transition. Starting today, Mrs. Mallory Setzekorn (sets-korn), will be starting as our new receptionist. Previous emails that you would send to Ms. Camrud for attendance will now need to be sent to mallorysetzekorn@lindberghschools.ws. Thank you!

We are in need to scrap paper for students to use for various things in the building. If you have any laying around at work that is only going to be recycled, think about bringing that up to us so that we can repurpose for classroom use. All we really need is one clean side to the paper. You can drop off any paper to the front entrance. Our office staff can assist you with getting into the building. Thanks!

Truman Parent Group (TPG) is kicking off a pizza fundraiser with STL City Pizza this week. Order forms will be coming home is students' backpacks OR you can print this one. Order forms and money (checks payable to Truman TPG) should be turned into the school office by 12/14. 40% of funds raised will be donated to Truman. Pizza will be distributed after winter break. As colder weather approaches, now is a good time to remind families and staff how we prepare for potential school closures that can result from snow, ice, or other severe weather events. In the event of inclement weather, we will decide to close school based on a number of factors, including student safety, bus transportation, road conditions and wind chill temperature. When possible, the decision to close school is made by 10 p.m. the night before. However, if the decision cannot be made by 10 p.m., then a decision will be made between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. the next morning. If the decision is made to cancel school, all families and staff will receive a phone call, text message and email notification.

Special School District opened candidate filing for a Board of Education seat representing Lindbergh Schools on Dec. 5, 2023. The open seat is for a three-year term beginning in March 2024. SSD Board members are elected by SSD’s Governing Council. The Governing Council is comprised of one Board of Education member from each of the 22 partner school districts in St. Louis County.
