FSC Principal's Update
November 19, 2021
Have a wonderful holiday break. I hope each and every one of you get some time to relax, reflect, spend time with family and friends and give thanks! I know that I am looking forward to seeing family that I don't get much of a chance to see, including my kids!
Any Covid related questions or concerns should go to Kate Welling at (513) 497-3302 or finneytowncovid@finneytown.org.
As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to me with questions!

Principal
Staff Spotlight (Emily Styles)
My name is Emily Styles and this is my 25th year at Finneytown schools. Currently, I am the 6th and 7th grade counselor. I have been a school counselor for 18 years but have also taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade ELA. I have enjoyed my years working in our small community and it has become like family to me, especially now that I am working with some of my former students’ children (yes I AM that old). The time I spend with our students and staff and the stories they are able to share inspire me everyday.
I grew up in Okeana, Ohio (near Ross) where I was able to enjoy the outdoors and small town living. I attended Miami University for my undergraduate studies in elementary education and, later, received my master’s degree in school counseling from Xavier University. Currently, I live in Colerain and spend as much time as I can with my family and friends. I am lucky to have amazing parents, two sisters, 3 nephews and 3 nieces that keep me on my toes and constantly laughing. Traveling is my passion.. and if I could travel the world, I would!
Tutoring
Mrs. Hawkins (Room 105) is available after school for homework help on Mondays from 3-4:00 as well.
