St. Mary's Catholic School

We had our Remembrance Day Ceremony this past Friday to honour those who have fought and died for the freedoms we have. At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month we took a moment of silence to honour the family members from our school community who have served our country.

As many of you are aware at the beginning of summer, STMY was notified of their successful bid to host the 1A Boys Provincial Championships this November 24-26th. This being said there are a lot of preparations underway and we know that our STMY family will help step up to make this amazing event a HUGE success.

For any parents of our student-athletes that would like to be involved, there will be a final IN PERSON MEETING on WEDNESDAY, Nov 16th, from 5:30-6:30 pm.

We’re teaming up with Purdys Chocolatier to fundraise for the St. Mary’s Athletic Club with all proceeds going to meet our goal of lowering the athletics cost of all athletes at St. Mary's by 25%. We are setting a fundraising goal of raising $5000!

Congratulations to all of our athletes that participated in the Pumpkin Smash. Mr. Paulichuk would like to thank all the volunteers who helped with our tournament on the weekend. Everyone was smashing!

Hey St. Mary's Family! It's the time of year again to be thinking about decorating your house with poinsettias for the holiday season! The Sr. Boys Basketball team is hoping to fundraise approximately $800 to help cover costs. We are selling red poinsettias, planter boxes, holiday wreaths, hanging greenery, and outdoor arrangements.

Plants will be delivered to the school on the evening of December 13 and can be picked up that night or during the day on December 14. Order deadline is on Monday, November 28.
