CMSD Vision of Learning in a post-pandemic world
CMSD Profile of a Graduate (POG)
The School of One is focusing on supporting our students in all areas of the Profile of Graduate with a really strong emphasis on the following two areas:
1. Academic Mindset:
a. Goal: Students independently set goals, define the steps needed to reach those goals, and frequently progress monitor(4.2). I own my progress towards graduation.
b. Indicator: Weekly, teachers will coach students on the completion of their goal sheets. Students will use the goal sheet to guide learning on online coursework.
2. Communication and Information Literacy Technology:
a. Students strategically use oral and written communication to convey a clear and effective message to my desired audience.
b. Indicator: 1. Students can orally express their understanding of content using the Gradual Release of Responsibility method. 2. Students will be able to complete a 4-5 paragraph response on the Achieve3000 thought question. They will also be able to complete the lesson activity at a 75% accuracy.

Mrs. Chiluka teaching and administrative career spans over three decades (From India, John F. Kennedy High School and The So1, respectively).
