I keep hoping that if I choose spring backgrounds for the eNews, the warmer weather will actually follow. Hoping Spring is actually around the corner!

If you haven't completed your returning student registration, please do that as soon as possible. This greatly assists us in our planning for next year. The button below links you the registration page.

Next week is Staff Appreciation Week! PTO has planned some wonderful ways to celebrate the staff here at Ferson but they need your help! They are looking for donations, monetary and otherwise. 4TB Celebrates Earth Day

4TB got ahead of the rainy Earth Day weather by doing a clean up of the Ferson playground and fields on Thursday. Students wore gloves and worked in small groups to carefully comb the grass, blacktop and woodchips for trash. They collected many wrappers, papers, plastic containers and bags, foam packing materials and packaging. Students were excited to see the bags fill up with non-biodegradable items and notice how great it looked once the play spaces were clean! Lots of plans were discussed to keep the momentum and clean up spaces in their own neighborhoods.

1st Grade Students Shop First Mart!

First grade students have been building their understanding of money. Earning coins for kindness, hard work, following directions, and participation, students have been keeping their banks full in anticipation of shopping at First Mart. Today was a shopping day and our students had a great time choosing items that fit their budget from the options at First Mart that were generously donated by 1st grade parents.

St. Charles Public Library

The School Services Librarian from the St. Charles Public Library will be at Ferson Creek on May 6th to tell the students about the Summer Reading program, library cards, and to show the Summer Reading short movie. She will also book-talk some of the new 2023 award books.
