STEM and art prove winning combo for successful event
The annual STEM Fair & Art Show was an amazing display of student projects, artwork and demonstrations last Saturday at Sumner Middle School. About 750 people attended the event, which featured 77 STEM projects, hundreds of pieces of artwork, 13 community vendors, four visiting artists, two food trucks, along with robotics demonstrations, drone competitions, chess games, a photo booth and more.
All-District Choir Festival a singing success
About 1,500 people attended the All-District Choir Festival on Feb. 23 at Bonney Lake High School, which featured students from eight elementary schools and all secondary schools.
The audience heard a variety of performances, including combined elementary choirs, combined middle school concert choir, combined middle and high school advanced treble choir, combined high school chamber choir, and the all-choir finale, “Lead the Way.”
We thank our talented choral directors for teaching and practicing for this event since October:
