The Seasons are Quickly Changing
The weather is quickly reminding us that winter is on its way. I know it can be confusing for virtual families if there is an inclement weather day for Knox County. If there is a school delay or school closure for Knox County then our school will follow the delay or closure as well. This Northerner is hoping for a big snow day where we can all play in the snow!
Next Year
I have had a number of parents reach out asking will there be a virtual school next year? The answer is YES! We are excited about the learning that is taking place and the partnership with our families. We will continue to develop and grow our school to ensure we are offering all of our students high-quality instruction, opportunities to socialize and develop friendships, as well as cultivating learning experiences that extend far beyond the walls of a classroom. The sky is the limit with virtual!

Knoxville Leadership Visitors
This past week we had two members of the Knoxville Leadership 2022 cohort visit our school to learn more about virtual learning. They were both extremely impressed with our teachers, students, and families and the strong partnerships and engagement opportunities we have created for our students. This is a true testament to our school as we continue to tell the narrative of KCS VES! Thank you families for helping create a strong and wonderful learning culture for our school!
School Shirts
We are excited to have our first school shirt order! Below you will see an image of the three different shirt options available to order through our School Online Cash System. The deadline for ordering is December 1st. The shirts will be available for pick-up on January 3rd at our next material pick-up.
