It has been wonderful to see our staff, students, and families working together to make this week a great start to the 2020-2021 school year. We appreciate everyone for their patience and understanding as we navigate these unprecedented times.

Nothing about what we are going through together is easy, but always know that our primary focus is providing a quality education while keeping your students' health and well-being at the forefront.

COVID-19 Daily Screening

Parents should review the COVID-19 Screening Questions on the District website each day before sending their child to any in-person Prosper ISD activity. If your child tests positive, has been exposed to a COVID positive individual, or has one or more of the symptoms on the screening questionnaire, use the link at the bottom of the questionnaire to notify the school nurse and do NOT send your child to school until receiving clearance to return from the school nurse.

*If your child has a chronic condition that presents as one of the symptoms on the screening questionnaire, it is recommended that you contact the school nurse and your child's teacher about the chronic symptom so that both of these key school personnel are aware.

Here comes the Bus

Prosper ISD is happy to announce the adoption of an innovative mobile device app and website entitled, Here Comes the Bus®.

What will you see with Here Comes the Bus and Student Ridership?

º Real-time location of your child’s bus on a map within a 2 mile radius
º Scheduled and actual bus arrival times at home and school
º Confirmation that your child’s bus has arrived at the bus stop, at school or both
º Your child’s scan data including bus number, time and location of scan
º Push notification* and email alert when:

Bus has entered the radius around the home stop
Bus has been substituted
Your child scans on and off the bus, including bus number, time and location

Virtual Learning Support Videos

Prosper ISD Instructional Technology and Library Services departments are hosting an ongoing series of webinars to equip families with tools, tips, and suggestions to support students that are learning remotely. This first session will orient you with accessing the Student Portal and navigating our learning platform tools such as Google Classroom and SeeSaw (elementary only). Be on the lookout for a second round of webinars in the near future.
