TOLL GATE ELEMENTARY

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year. We are looking forward to seeing all of you and providing excellent educational opportunities for your children.

We would like to ask that you go to the Back to School Page on our website and review the forms now located online and follow the directions where indicated. Pay particular attention to the Emergency Medical Forms, the Student Handbook and digitally signing the acknowledgement that you have read the handbook. A registration card will be coming home with your child on the first day of school. Please fill that out and return so we have the correct contact information.

Please make sure you have signed in Infinite Campus for a parent portal account. You can start this process online by going to the top right of the district website under the “I want to box”. Scroll down to the “Access Infinite Campus” to start the process. By registering for a parent account you will automatically receive important school information, such as upcoming school events and cancelations due to bad weather. Our goal is to provide efficient communication to our school community. I would also encourage you to frequently visit Toll Gate Elementary’s webpage for current information of upcoming events. Our webpage can be accessed by going to our district website at WWW.pickerington.k12.oh.us Click “Schools” at the top and scroll down to Toll Gate Elementary. Open House – Aug 13, 4pm-6pm

This is an opportunity for you and your child to visit your classroom and meet your teacher. There will be a packet of information for you along with a dismissal form that we ask you to fill out, so that we can ensure your child gets home the correct way each day.

In order to accommodate both parking space and the building, we ask that you attend the open house as close to the schedule as you can.

Masks are optional in the school at this point, however, All students must wear masks on school transportation.This is a Federal Mandate that is Non-Negotiable. We acknowledge that this may change based on future mandates.

This includes student handbooks, supply lists, transportation infor, emergency medical forms, and dismissal forms.

Click on back to School button in the upper left corner of the page Scroll down to Toll Gate Elementary. Go to Parents Back to School checklist and follow directions where indicated. Please focus on:

1. Student Handbooks (REQUIRED). All parents must sign this acknowledgement.

2. Get your school supply lists.

3. Update your family information in Infinite Campus (REQUIRED).

4. Student Fees (see back page) can be paid online through parent portal.

5. Complete Forms (REQUIRED) –

Emergency Medical Authorization must be completed online.

6. Bus Transportation – Should be available online by August.

7. School Calendar – download a copy of the 2021-22 calendar.

8. Child’s lunch Account – Put money in child’s My Payment Plus account.

Inifinite Campus Parent Portal - Very Important to keep update.

The Parent Portal gives you access to student information such as contact info, attendance, transportation and to pay fees online. If you don’t have your account activated yet, go to the PLSD website at www.pickerington.k12.oh.us and choose the Infinite Campus Tab. Scroll down to activating a Parent Portal Account and follow instruction. You will receive an activation email from our Technology Department.

Student Dismissal – Updated every year. We would appreciate your help in being consistent in how students go home at the end of the day. Only list those few individuals who will pock up your child at the end of the day on a regular basis. If you have changes, you must send in a note to the school office.
