Windermere Weekly Update

We just had our January PTO meeting this past Thursday, but there is still great information in the January PTO newsletter below. Please join us at the next meeting on February 8th at 6:00PM in the cafeteria.

If you're wanting to volunteer for a field trip, in the classroom or maybe help out on Field Day, make sure to get your volunteer application completed.

You must fill out a new application every year.

If your student has been part of the campus UIL team and will be participating in the district meet, the event is January 27th from 8:00AM - 12:00PM. Families will receive an email and a paper copy of information regarding specific details of the event soon.

January

15th - MLK Day - No school for students or teachers

18th - Windermere Science Fair

18th - PTO Meeting @ 6:00PM

27th - District UIL Meet at Pflugerville High School

February

9th - Student Council Valentine's Dance for 2nd-5th Grades. Details to come.

16th - No school for students

19th - No school for students

23rd - Austin Regional Science Fair

Thank you to those of you who have donated. We still need items for the lounge! We'll take them all year. You can drop items by the front office and we will take it from there! A few of you have sent items via Amazon and that works perfectly. Our address is 429 Grand Ave. Pkwy, Pflugerville 78660.

Mostly, anything that's shelf-stable will work, but here are some ideas for what to purchase:

Sodas, LaCroix-type drinks, Tea Packets, K-Cups (coffee)

Granola Bars, Trail Mix, Popcorn, Chips, Crackers

Chocolate, Cookies, Candy, Snack Cakes

Beef Jerky, Cup-O-Noodle Soup

Any other kinds of snacks you can think of, chances are someone will LOVE it!

Families must reapply each school year. It is very important to complete this application even if you don't think your child will qualify.

Part of the funding for our campus is determined from the results of the submitted applications. Click the link below to complete the application. Call our front office at 512-594-4800 if you need any assistance. All students will receive free breakfast this year.
