In the spirit of the holiday season, Salford Hills is accepting gift cards to be provided to families in need. All gift cards will be distributed to families in our school community. If you are interested in contributing to our holiday giving drive, please send gift cards to Salford Hills, addressed to Mrs. Seaman, school counselor. Gift cards must be turned in by WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 6th.

Gift card ideas include: Target, Walmart, Kohls, Amazon, etc.

Teachers are currently working on entering progress report data, and the progress reports will go live to elementary parents in the District on December 11th at 7:00pm.

Similar to an escape room, 4th grade students used clues and answers to comprehension questions about the story Tiger Rising to break out of an imaginary breakout room.

The Story walk is a great outdoor learning place at Salford Hills. The Story Walk is an outdoor nature trail with many different platforms, and each platform contains a page to a story. As students walk along the nature trail, they can read a story along their walk.

In Library, students listened to a book called "A Very Good Hat" and learned about community helpers. After the story, they designed their own unique hats.

Our next Home & School Meeting will be Tuesday Jan. 9th at 6pm in the cafeteria. Please join us to meet other parents, learn about HSA events and volunteer opportunities, as well as bring any ideas, concerns, or questions to the Board. Childcare will be provided. We hope to see you there!

In preparation for your child's use of a 1-to-1 device in the 2023-2024 school year, please complete the Mobile Device Use Agreement and pay the device protection fee. Please see the details below.

Each year, the student/parent mobile device use agreement must be completed, and the device protection fee must be paid, via one of the methods below.

• Option 1 - Complete agreement and pay fee online.
  *Note: If you have never paid through Pay Online/RevTrak, you will need to create an account.
  
• Option 2 - Print agreement and make payment in-person: Complete and sign the Student/Parent Agreement (English | Spanish | Vietnamese). Please send the signed agreement and payment for the device fee to school with your child.

***Student ID's can be found in your Home Access Center Account***

Devices will be distributed to students during the first week of school.

The Salford Hills HSA invites you to volunteer at Salford Hills this year! The HSA helps coordinate volunteers for classroom activities, social events, school events, etc. As a volunteer, you are welcome to serve as much or as little as you wish. For example, help during a specific event, assist in organizing an event, lead a committee, help in your child's classroom, and more. There are so many ways to serve Salford Hills and we would love to connect you with opportunities that would be a good fit for you and your family.

In order to be contacted regarding these opportunities, you must join our volunteer list by filling out the form below. There is no commitment by joining our volunteer list. By signing up, you will simply join our list to be notified of events needing volunteers and other opportunities to get involved.
