Dr. Looney's Message
Happy Friday, Parents!
We wrapped up another week here at Summerour Middle School, and are wrapping up Black History Month. We are honoring all of our African-American Educators and important African-American Educators across the state of Georgia. We are having our school-wide program this afternoon. Ask your student how it went.
We had an inspirational speaker Thursday, Dr. Tommie Mabry, for our 8th graders. If you have an 8th grader ask them what nuggets of inspiration they came away with.
Next week we have Parent-Teacher conferences. If you don't get a request for a conference, but want one, please reach out to your child's teachers. Not sure where to start? Start with the Homeroom teacher.s
Have an amazing, safe, and restful weekend. I'll be cheering on our girl's soccer team after school at 5:30 today. Swing by if you can to support our girls.
Do not hesitate to reach out to us if you need anything.
