Music Department Director - Mr. Collin Zier
Mr. Zier, a dedicated and passionate educator, has been a cornerstone of the Orangeville School District's K-12 music program for an inspiring five years. His unwavering commitment to teaching and his genuine love for music have left an indelible mark on the students fortunate enough to be under his guidance.
Mr. Zier's enthusiasm for music goes beyond the notes and rhythms; it is about instilling a deep-seated passion for the art form in each student. He understands that music has the power to not only enrich lives but also to inspire creativity, discipline, and a love for learning.
Beyond the classroom, Mr. Zier harbors a vision to extend the reach of his musical influence to even more students. His goal is clear: to teach the joy of music to as many young minds as possible. Through his dedication, he aspires to build the Orangeville music department into a thriving space where young people can discover, nurture, and explore their musical talents.
In Mr. Zier's hands, the Orangeville music department is not just a place for learning notes and scales; it is a vibrant and dynamic space where students are encouraged to unleash their creativity, express themselves, and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the beauty of music.
As he continues to shape the musical journey of the students at Orangeville, we applaud Mr. Zier for his exemplary commitment and tireless efforts to create a thriving musical community within the school. Here's to many more years of fostering a love for music and inspiring the next generation of talented musicians!
