RRSD # 35 Community Update

District Happenings:
Bond Measure Passes!!!!!
A super big Kudo to the members of the Political Action Committee and our School Board of Directors who took the lead on promoting and communicating for the bond.
You might be wondering what happens now. The District Office is already busying itself with setting the groundwork for how we will move forward. We are already developing RFP's created for finding and hiring engineers and contractors to tackle our projects. Timelines are difficult to come up with this early. We are working as quickly as possible, but there are many steps to take before we can hire contractors and get work started. Do not expect any building or renovation to begin taking place for at least six months. Once contractors are hired, we can communicate our expected timelines for project startup and completion.
I will try to share quarterly updates on the bond project progress as we move forward with it.
Board Member Elections:
Heather Friend and Jay Chick will be returning for full terms on the Rogue River School District Board of Directors. Both joined the board through appointment to empty spots, and now have been voted in for full terms. Congratulations to both of you, and thank you for your service.
