Pleasant Valley Family Newsletter
February 24, 2023
Our mission is to empower and inspire a community of lifelong learners and leaders!
Dear Pleasant Valley Families,
We had a fun and extra kind Kindness Week last week, and our Stars enjoyed our PE Healthy Heart Run! Thank you to the volunteers that helped punch holes in the paper hearts to track laps and cheer our students on!
The library has space now in 1-2-3 Boost for Kindergarten, and 1-2-3 Read for Grades 1 - 3. Students struggling with reading can sign up for free, one-on-one, and group assistance with trained teacher coordinators. Registration forms are at the Children’s Room Information desk. Also, check out the updated Spring Library Programs at the bottom of the newsletter.
Please keep this in mind... If you hear something from your child that doesn't seem right, immediately check with your child's teacher. Should safety ever be compromised, I will promptly notify all families. Creating a safe, orderly, and welcoming learning environment is critical to educating and preparing our learners to achieve their highest potential. The safety of your children will always be at the forefront. We have a dedicated staff who work hard to ensure your child is welcomed, served, and dismissed safely every day, whether via car, bus, or walking.
As always, I want to thank you for your partnership with Pleasant Valley! We are so appreciative of all of our Pleasant Valley families. Should you ever have any questions, concerns, or just a terrific idea you would like to share, please email me at bokas@parmacityschools.org or call the main office at 440.885.2480.
Warmest Regards,
Mrs. Stephanie Boka

Attendance is Important
Attendance Procedures
If your child is going to be absent, please call our office at our updated attendance line number, 440-843-3867, no later than 9:30 am.
