Attendance Matters!~
In an effort to ensure our students are safe on campus we are implementing a change that will require all students who are late to school to be walked in by a parent and signed in at the office. Once the bell rings and doors close @ 8:25am Tuesday-Friday and 10am on Mondays, there is no longer staff supervision outside so we want to ensure our tardy Dolphins make their way inside safely. This will take effect in January when we return from Winter Break. Thank you for your partnership!
STEM FAIR- 2/25
We are so looking forward to the SBLSD STEM Fair on February 25th, 2023. As in past years, one of the most exciting ways we can encourage student participation in the event is through student projects.
All students K-12 are encouraged to submit and showcase a project related to science, technology, or engineering at this year's event. Registration is currently open, with the extended deadline of January 20th, 2023. Please note: student projects do not need to be completed by this date - we just need to know that they plan to complete a project.
Stem Fair Student Project Registration
Please reach out with any questions. We look forward to celebrating student learning and inquiry at this year's STEM Fair and Art Show.
Playground Locked
To ensure student safety, we will be making sure all playground gates remain locked until student dismissal. Thanks for understanding!
Parent Drop-OFF
Just a reminder- we open our doors at 8:10 am. Please do not drop off students before that time. Drop-off car line is in the loop in front of our school. Those parents parking and dropping their students off, please use appropriate sidewalks/crosswalks.
Daffodil St is not a car drop-off location. We have seen students getting dropped off on Daffodil St and run across the street in-between the buses! Please help your child stay safe and use the crosswalk!
Cold and Flu Season
With school starting, and the weather starting to turn cold, our students are coming to school with the sniffles! Sending your child with kleenex would be super helpful and any donations would be helpful!
Remember to bring your WATER BOTTLE to school!
Please send a reusable water-bottle with your student. It is very important for your students to stay hydrated throughout the day.
