Before we turn the page on 2020, we want to give a huge shout out to our elected 2020-2021 BCS PTA Executive Board.
We deeply appreciate and are thankful to our hard-working and dedicated parent volunteers who generously give of their time, talent, and passion to support the BCS community!

KAREN BAGNINI is mom to Basie grade 10. She participates in the PTA Executive Board in service of BCS's mission and potential for creating a liberatory and emancipatory space for our children, and all stakeholders, to learn, heal, and become the best versions of ourselves. Karen is a product of the Brooklyn Public Schools of the 1970's and 1980's: PS 139, Ditmas Junior High School, and Midwood High School.
JENNIFER GARCIA has been a part of the 610 Henry community since 1996. Her son Johnny is a junior, and her older son JoaquĆn went to BCS. Jennifer teaches pre-k and is an IEP case manager at BNS. Her passion is finding projects for BNS " little ones" to do with our BCS teenagers. Jennifer is an anti-racist educator. She is a huge fan of the Village People!

SHANNON LORRAINE is a mom to 7th grader Josephine Lorraine. She owns a branding and PR agency. Shannon is a huge animal lover as well as a retired drummer!
Members-at-Large
SUSAN KIM JANSSEN is a mother to 6th grader Juliane and 9th grader Louis-Philippe. She is a partner in a design studio and spends most days on her laptop looking at cool images. Susan looks forward to assisting the BCS community and being an asset.
VENUS DENNISON-MURRAY has been an actively involved BCS parent for 7 years. She has two daughters. Sophia is in the 11th grade and Ella recently promoted from our middle school. Venus loves assisting our incoming parents and students with transitioning to a supportive BCS community of teachers and administrators and to helping them finds ways to get involved.
