ND Unified Sports
Calling all students that want to connect and engage in our dynamic new sports team...ND UNIFIED SPORTS!! In Semester 2, we will be starting our 2024 Team. In Unified Sports, teams are made up of people of similar age and ability, which makes practices more fun and games more challenging and exciting for all. Having sport in common is just one more way that preconceptions and false ideas are swept away.This year's focus is 3 on 3 basketball, bean bag toss and bocce ball.
Qualifications:
-You have availability during Block 3B during Semester 2 either with a spare or a Religion or Leadership (etc) class where your teacher supports you joining once a week from 1:30-2:07 starting in March.
-you are a kind-hearted, caring, and AWESOME person
-you would like to make new friends
-you can attend 2-3 Unified events during a school day (dates TBA)

Notre Dame Chapel! Prayer and Praise will have various opportunities to pray and grow closer to Jesus, with the most common-Praise and Worship, along with the rosary, stations of the cross, bible studies and more! Join us every Thursday before school, or pop in when you can!

The Lindsay Thurber Raiders Skateboarding program will be hosting the 2nd Annual Bucky's Winter Classic skateboard competition in just over a month.
Who: Any students from grades 9-12 who are interested in competing (younger are welcome, but they will be competing against Gr. 9-10 students)
What: 2nd Annual Bucky's Winter Classic Skateboard Competition
When: Thursday, December 21st, 2023 from 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Where: Incline Industries in Sylvan Lake, AB
Notre Dame Students who are interested in this event must connect with Mr. Lansing.
There is a $10 registration fee that can be paid in person on the day of the event. Please be sure to fill out the attached Google Form if interested.
We know your skaters are out there, this is a chance for them to shine and draw some positive attention for their skills! We are coming off of a very successful inaugural event last year and are looking to build on that success this year. Lunch will be provided for the athletes, as well as some goodie bags and a chance at some unreal prizes from our sponsors.
