Parent/Teacher Conference Nights

P/T conferences are coming up on the following dates. If you would like to schedule a conference, please call GMSE at 614-478-5550. We have virtual conferences prior to 5 pm and in-person meetings afterwards.

Signs of Suicide for 7th Graders

Please see this linked letter regarding a program in coordination with Nationwide Children's Hospital called SOS: Signs of Suicide. We will be using this with our 7th grade students tomorrow, 9/19 during math classes. The program teaches students about this difficult topic and encourages them to seek help if they are worried about themselves or a friend. 6th Grade Update

The House system is going well in 6th grade! Students are finalizing their House commitment posters and are continuing to get to know each other along the way. We also have finished our 6th House wall that includes get to know you squares the students worked on at the beginning of the year. The wall shows the colors associated with each House (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, teal, black and purple) as well as individual qualities that make each member of each house unique. Feel free to check out the wall if you’re in the building!
We look forward to meeting some of you at our upcoming conference nights. Please feel free to reach out at any time, though, with questions or concerns. We’re off to a solid start in 6th grade!

7th Grade Update

Math 7 students will have their first chapter test this week! Topics will include probability, area & perimeter, decimal/ fraction addition and subtraction, and fraction decimal percent conversion.

8th Grade Update

Parent Teacher Conference Requests have been sent out. If you do not receive a request but would like to set up a conference, please just call the office (614-478-5550) during school hours.
8th grade is also accepting any Hand Sanitizer donations! If you would like to make a donation, please send it in with your child to their House Teacher. THANKS!
