Art Club fundraiser: Creating Heroes and Villains for animated feature films

This Wednesday, January 10th at 5pm, writer, producer, director, and GHS parent, Simon J. Smith, will be presenting about the creation of the film Penguins of Madagascar. The talk will include behind the scenes footage, his personal experiences with Benedict Cumberbatch and John Malkovich, and the truth to movie magic! Simon holds over 30 years of film experience and worked for Dreamworks for 19 years, working on favorites like Antz, Shrek, and directing Bee Movie. Students and families are invited, tickets will cost $2 with all proceeds going towards Art Club. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by contacting Matt Biasotti (matt.biasotti@bsd7.org) Join us for this truly special opportunity right here in our school!

We Need You!

We are looking for new members to join the GHS PAC! Many of the GHS PAC officers have graduating seniors this year so we'll need some new volunteers to step in and step up. The GHS PAC meets once per month and provides incredible support for our staff and students! Please consider volunteering to help support this wonderful organization.

After Prom Seeking Donations

On Saturday, May 4, 2024, After Prom: May the Fourth Be With You will provide a safe, entertaining, and inclusive event. The event will include fun activities like spike ball, laser tag, a ping pong tournament, sumo wrestling, a movie, music, and food and drink. Students can win fabulous prizes like a TV, computer, paddle board, electric scooter, cash and so much more! To help us ensure we deliver an amazing event, please consider making a generous, tax-deductible cash donation for the purchase of prizes, food, and entertainment. Staff Spotlight - Nichole Ruffatto-School Based Outpatient Therapist (SBOT)

I am a fourth-generation Montanan who was born and raised in the Flathead Valley. I earned my undergraduate degree in education via the University of Great Falls and worked very hard to earn my MSW in Missoula (go Griz?). I have worked in a school-based setting for nine years now, and honestly believe that a school is the most valuable square of land in any town. This is my second year at GHS as an SBOT. Outside of work, I have a giant teddy bear schnoodle named Eleanor Woofsevelt. She is my best friend and keeps all my secrets. I also practice yoga at least twice a week.
