Student Counseling Services
Calm Waters Counseling: If your student is going through any of the following losses: Death, Divorce, Foster Care & Adoption, Military, Deployment, Incarceration, and Deportation, they are eligible to receive counseling services through Calm Waters. Families must sign up on their own using the school address, and we must reach a certain number of student service requests for Calm Waters to contact us to set up a school group at our location. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Herber - rherber@steugeneschool.org. The continued goal of all student support groups is to teach children coping skills that they will utilize for the rest of their lives. Register here.
A Note From Mrs. O’Connell (P.E. Teacher)
This past week, I shared some big news with the students. Sadly, this will be my last year teaching P.E. at St. Eugene. My husband recently accepted a new job, and we will be moving to North Carolina! My kids and I will be staying at St. Eugene until the end of this school year. I look forward to spending these last few months with your children. I will miss them all so much and of course will miss this wonderful community! St. Eugene School and Church has been our family for 15 years, and we have loved our time here. Thank you for your prayers and support as my family embarks on this new adventure! St. Eugene will be in our hearts forever!
8th Grade Players vs. Coaches!
Join us in the school gym on Friday, March 10th! An old St. Eugene tradition, following the end of the basketball season, is a game of 8th grade players vs. coaches! All families are invited to come cheer on coaches and players during the game, as well watch the 3-pointer and free throw shootouts! St. Eugene 6th-8th grade students may sign up to compete in the 3-pointer or free throw competition. Email Mr. Hartmann at basketball@steugeneschool.org to sign up. The concession stand will be open, and the Athletic Commission will have some awesome Eagle swag available for purchase. Pre-Game starts at 6pm, main event at 7pm.

Still Need Safe Environment? We still have a lot of people wanting to volunteer who have not completed Safe Environment. ALL ARCHDIOCESAN/PARISH/SCHOOL EMPLOYEES & ADULT VOLUNTEERS who have contact with minors or vulnerable adults must complete the new online Safe & Sacred Training (2020) including a background check. Until all steps have been completed in the online training portal, employees and volunteers may not serve at the parish/school or organization. Please complete this google form to send in your name and email address to Jennifer Goodrich so that she can send you information to begin the process! You must have updated SE if you plan on driving on field trips, being a homeroom parent, or coaching a team, etc.
