Families please mark your calendars for Parent Teacher Conferences taking place on September 19th and 21st here at Cimarron. This round of conferences will include both an open house portion and schedule conferences. Be on the lookout for an email if you are being invited to a scheduled conference by September 8th . Open house will take place from 5:15-7:00 PM on both nights.

Starting next Tuesday, August 29th, our Colts Club will be offered for students. This will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:10-4:10 in the Library. Any student is welcome to come to have a quiet place to complete work and get support from a certified teacher and National Junior Honor Society student volunteers. Don't miss out on this free opportunity for your student!

The Festival of Trees committee is looking for a couple of volunteers who would be willing to help solicit donations for the Festival of Trees!

We will provide you with all the information you need and businesses to contact. The more donations we have, the more successful the event will be.

NEEDED ASAP- We are looking for parents that may be interested in coaching flag football. We are looking for two 6th grade coaches and one 8th grade coach. Please email Mr. Barnes at tbarnes@dcsdk12.org if you are interested.

Welcome to the new school year and the new athletics year!!! 6th, 7th, & 8th grade Cross Country and 8th grade girls Volleyball are well underway and the kids are having a great time! If your student wants to participate in school sports, more information can be found on our Athletics Website with details for season dates, FAQs, copy of the sports physical form, and more. We must have proof of a current physical before they can participate. Registration is now open for our next season which starts on September 11th for 6th/7th/8th grade co-ed flag football and 7th grade girls volleyball. We are currently out of gift cards. We need donations of $5 gift cards to support our Be Red card Friday Drawings. Students love Fika, McDonalds, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Berry Blendz, Swirls, Target gift cards.

7th grade is also looking for various small item donations (fidget toys, play dough, other dollar store fun items, silly objects, etc.) for our Friday red card drawing prize bin. Please mention "The 7th grade prize bin," when you drop off.

8th grade is looking for donations of the following items for our Friday red card drawings:

ankle bracelets, Pura Vida bracelets, croc charms, and candy bars.

They can be purchased directly from the Amazon wish list linked below and shipped directly to the school or can be dropped off with security. Please mention 8th grade prizes if you drop them off. Thanks in advance for your support.
