The month of October has been a great month for our students. Our Art classes are learning to sketch and draw pumpkins and leaves. Our 3rd grade students had their Halloween Safety Assembly with Officer Ricky where they learned about being safe on Halloween Day. Thank you to Officer Ricky and the KPD for this important assembly.

Nominations from both staff and families are now being accepted until October 30th. Please see the links below for both the presentation from October 4th as well as the link to nominate your child. Thank you.

Please join us on Tuesday, October 31st, for our annual Halloween Parade. The parade will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. We ask that you arrive by 10:15 a.m to secure parking. Thank you!

On November 6th, 7th, and 8th, we will have Minimum Days due to Parent/Teacher Conferences. There is no lunch served on those days. We will be holding a Bagel Fundraiser. All profits go towards our 5th grade PEEC trip. You can purchase a bagel for your child/ren for one day, two days, or all three days. The sheet is linked below for you and has also been sent home via hard copy. Thank you.

November 9th and 10th: School Closed for NJEA Teacher's Convention

November 16th: Picture Retakes and all Class Pictures will be taken.

November 16th: K-5 Skate Night 6:00 - 7:30

November 22nd: Minimum Day

November 23rd and 24th: School Closed for Thanksgiving.

November 27th, 28th, and 29th: Holiday Shop

Our Holiday Winter Concert will be held on the following dates. The concerts will be held at the KHS Auditorium.

December 11th at 6:30 p.m. - Choir only.

December 13th at 6:30 p.m. - 5th Grade Band only.

As the weather becomes colder, please label your child's coat or sweatshirt with their name/grade.

Please label your child's water bottle with their name/grade.

Please make sure that your child has their Chromebook with them when they come to school each day.
