Thrive @ Cornell
Newsletter Supporting Your Health and Well-Being
Tuesday, April 12, 2022
Dear Community,
Welcome back! We hope you had a fun and restorative Spring Break! However, whether your break went as planned or not, we invite you to take a moment to breathe it in, let it out, and look forward.
There are four weeks left until the last day of classes, and now is a great time to set an intention for the rest of the semester. Pause and imagine, in one month from now...
- How do I want to feel?
- How do I want to have spent my time?
- What might bring me a sense of meaning?
- What's one thing I can learn to embrace or love about myself?
Then ask yourself:
- What's one concrete step I need to take to get from here to there?
- How might I cultivate willingness to do so?
Spoiler alert: It might involve stepping out of your comfort zone.
Wishing you courage, clarity, authenticity, and self-compassion as you author your own story this month. Cheers to this season of growth!
