"Paw"sitive Pal of the Week
This week's "Paw"sitive Pal of the week needs to be split 6 ways because Little Leo is heading to our counselors! Dr. Capik, Mr. Yonker, Ms. Kuhn, Dr. George, Mrs. Sentz and Mr. Hoffman are each wonderful, dedicated professionals who do all the things to support our students and collectively are a POWERHOUSE. This week we celebrate School Counselor Week, but they should be recognized every day for all that they do for all of us. So thank you to our counselors for being the support for all of us. We appreciate you!

Junior Achievement Real Life Volunteers Needed!
We need your help! On April 9 & 10, Junior Achievement of South Central PA will be at Red Lion Area Senior High School with their REAL Life Program. All students in 11th grade will be participating in the day-long program. It consists of a series of activities all intended to help students gain an appreciation for the importance of owning their own economic success.
Half of the day is spent in our Budget Builder activity. The other half has students gaining an understanding about going out into the real world after high school. The REAL Life day is intended to help students gain an appreciation of the importance that financial decisions will play in their lives as young adults. The program will inspire students to appreciate the key issues surrounding personal finance and the importance of getting good advice as they make decisions.
For this day to be a success, we will need volunteers to facilitate ONE of the REAL Life activities for the day as students rotate through your station. You do not need to be an approved school volunteer to help with this day. Junior Achievement will provide online training as well as on-site support to all volunteers. A light breakfast and lunch will also be available for volunteers.
To sign up to volunteer, click this link or contact Shannon Baker, Vice President Program Operations, at sbaker@jascpa.org.

The Senior High has PRIDE!
The P.R.I.D.E. Program is a character education framework which teaches and instills the virtues of being Personable, being Respectful, having Integrity, being Dependable, and being Engaged in both the school and community.
At the Senior High, not only are staff able to recognize student achievements; but also our students may recognize the good in other students or staff members. Through our online form, we are able to promote the good throughout our school and show each other the PRIDE the Senior High brings each day. The form can be accessed at: http://tinyurl.com/priderecognition or by using the QR code below.
