Davis A&M Family Newsletter
February 23, 2022
Principal's Message
Davis Students & Families,
We are rapidly approaching the end of the third quarter. Please remember, on our block schedule, quarterly grades all go to student transcripts. Please log into Schoology with your child to make sure they are earning as high marks as they are capable. We want all students to excel here at Davis.
In response to the recent safety-related incidents at our school, I met with each grade level in an assembly to discuss the safety of our community and gather student input. A lengthy description of the results of the assembly can be reviewed here. I will be working with my teachers and staff to implement new ways to allow students to bring safety-related concerns to us in a manner that is confidential and anonymous. I appreciated the honesty from our community members, and am confident we are moving our school in the right direction when it comes to our collective safety.
If you have questions about any of the announcements, please call the school at 216.838.2500

Preparing for SAT Test Day & Impact on ALL Students' Schedule
11th graders received the SAT School Day Participation in College Planning Options Consent form. Parents must select if they want their child to opt in to Student Search Service and to participate in the student questionnaire. This form must be returned TOMORROW, Thursday 2/24.
11th graders can visit the Student Digital Test Preview at digitaltesting.collegeboard.org/for-students ahead of test day to become familiar with the tools and navigation in the secure browser.
9th, 10th, and 12th graders will stay home on Wednesday, March 2nd and will have an asynchronous learning day. For students' attendance to be counted as "present" for each class, they must turn in the assignments given by their teachers for that day.
Help your 11th grader earn the trip to BGSU!
