STAAR EOC Retests/Tests
Coppell High School will be administering STAAR EOC’s beginning Monday, April 14th.
These exams are for students who need to retest for Algebra 1, Biology, or English 1 or test for the first time for English 2 and US History.
Testing dates are as follows:
Wednesday, April 23rd: Biology and US History
Monday, April 28th: Algebra 1
Students are expected to arrive by 8:30 AM to find their testing locations. Specific room assignments will be emailed, and links posted to Schoology, at least 24 hours before the scheduled exam.
STAAR testing is digital, and ALL testers are expected to bring their updated and charged CISD issued iPad. Students are also expected to bring their current student ID’s.
Please make sure you get a good nights sleep and eat a good breakfast before testing!
It important to avoid scheduling any type of doctor or dentist appointments on these days & to make sure students are on time to the test session. We want your child to have every opportunity to do well on this assessment.

On April 29, CHS is hosting the 2nd annual Mental Health Fair in partnership with the Defensive Line.
Our goal is to provide resources and help students find ways to connect at CHS and in Coppell.
We are currently looking for vendors for the event. We would love to have school clubs and organizations set up a booth around one of the six pillars of brain health (eat right, be social, enjoy hobbies, get enough sleep, exercise, and manage stress). We have over 20 CHS clubs that have signed up already - Culinary Club, Crochet Club, Dermatology Club, Hope Squad, and EmpowerHER are just a few!!!
If you know of a vendor that would like to participate in this event, please give them this link to register.
We will send out a formal invite closer to the event and would love for you and your families to attend!
A Very Special Track and Field Meet!
Partner PE participated in their rainy day make-up for the Special Olympics Track and Field Meet on the football field! This event was a huge success! Our athletes had fun while winning medals galore! We are so proud of these amazing learners and their Cowboy Fight Never Dies Spirit!
KCBY TV and Coppell Student Media
KCBY HAS A SPECIAL LIVE SHOW THIS WEEK. After months of rewiring our studio, our students produced a live show from beginning to end. Before this show, our show was pre-recorded.
Here is a brand new show from KCBY, our weekly student-run television program at Coppell High School. Here's the link to see the latest KCBY episodes.
Also, catch up on the latest news at CHS and the Coppell community on the official student news site. Here is the link for the Coppell Student Media https://coppellstudentmedia.com/
