Mustang Message Just Photos

Teachers and construction crews continue to work hard to get ready for students. The plan is to be finished with the majority of all work by the start of school. This is well ahead of our original completion timeline of April 2024. Following are pictures of some of the areas that have been under construction throughout this summer, and Mrs. Parker working hard in her classroom. The pictures are from 8/16/23. An incredible amount of work is being completed each day. See you soon!

Our gym is coming along. In the pictures you can see the finished ceiling, and nearly complete climbing wall, one of several new basketball hoops, and a new floor that will soon be striped.

Our beautiful new Media Center features a colorful geometric ceiling, new shelving, carpet, paint, an office for Mrs. Smith, and a new circulation desk. Furniture is set to be installed soon. Mrs. Smith has been working hard to restock the shelves and get ready for students. Our Pavilion features two structures and a newly paved path. The drainage has been updated and it was tested by several storms recently. It works perfectly, making this space more useable than our previous courtyard. Benches will be reinstalled to provide seating.

The office features a new front desk, a security vestibule, an office for Ms. Post, a new workroom, conference room, and Principal's office. The nurse's office has been updated to a suite with a student bathroom, area for sick students, and an office, complete with a large window to monitor students while she speaks with parents.

The front of the building is close to completion and looking great. Over the summer protective material was added to corridors finished in drywall. Work remains, but we will be ready for students.
