Greetings!
Brick Schools is proud to announce that we received the NJ School Boards 2021 School Leader Award as a result of our Brick & Click instructional model and our Summer SPARK and B.A.S.E. programs. The following people were instrumental to this success: the over 300 dedicated staff members who participated in the programs; our ingenious supervisors; and, last but not least, our program coordinators -- Michael Cintron, Lorraine Cooper, Erika Karu, Kelly Romano, Darren St. Jean, and Jeanette Wehner. It takes a village to run a program - and these impacted nearly 1,500 students! Thank you for your hard work.
We are also happy to report that it has been an amazing first marking period for Brick Schools! This newsletter captures some of the exciting new curricular adoptions like I-Ready Classroom, Writers Workshop, Fundations, and Open Sci. Ed. We also included a glimpse into our classrooms, schools, and district initiatives like Patriot Day, Halloween, and Veterans Day.
In this season of Thanksgiving, we count our students and their families among our many blessings! Thank you for being partners in education!
