Graphic Design - Assistance
Wakefield For Good is a volunteer-led service group that builds connections and community through service projects. We are looking for a high school volunteer with graphic design experience/interest to help design a set of flyers for our annual food drive. This event has collected 17,600+ lbs of food and non-food essential donations for our neighbors in need over the past 8 years and involves the entire Wakefield community. Here's more about the opportunity:
Project Summary: Create 2-3 template/fillable flyers for use by neighborhood captains and local schools where donations will be collected.
Resources: Wakefield For Good co-organizers will provide the information that needs to be included on the flyers, review the drafts, and provide feedback. If needed, access to Canva Pro or Adobe Express may be able to be provided.
Timeline & Estimated Hours: The final flyers must be completed by Friday, January 10. Estimated time for this project is 5 hours, including planning conversations/emails, design, reviews, and edits (though it could take more or less time based on student's existing design experience). A Wakefield For Good co-organizer will sign service hour forms for the student volunteer.
Volunteer Contact: Students interested in this opportunity should contact Veronica LaFemina, co-organizer, Wakefield For Good at veronica.lafemina@outlook.com.
Wakefield For Good also offers a number of other volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Students interested in learning about upcoming volunteer opportunities should send an email to WakefieldForGood@gmail.com requesting more information about upcoming volunteer opportunities.
