Please look for a newsletter from us every month.

Make sure you are checking grades and attendance daily. May is quickly approaching and we want to see all seniors walking the stage! Reach out to your counselor if you have any questions regarding graduation requirements.

February 9th deadline for all grade levels:

• To input courses for the 24-25 School Year
• To request changes to registered courses

Counselors will be meeting with current juniors 1/30 - 2/2 for 24-25 course registration. I preparation for that meeting, please review the links below for available courses and next steps in your pathway.

Counselors will be at Middle Schools next week to register current 8th graders for their 24-25 school year courses.

• Timberview Middle School: 1/16 - 1/19
• Trinity Springs Middle School: 1/22 - 1/26

CHANGE!!!! FAFSA DOESN'T OPEN UNTIL DECEMBER 2023

What you should do before it opens in December...

1. Create the Student & Parent FSA ID

2. Gather your tax information that you filed for 2022

AFTER you've submitted your application...don't forget to send your transcript!!!

• Make sure you put your college under add delivery address (If you miss this step, you'll get an unofficial transcript sent to you.)
• You can add multiple colleges under one request.
• You do have to upload a picture of your drivers license or School ID at the very end.

College Scholarships- SENIORS only

• Make sure when you are applying to colleges, you also apply for their scholarships.
• Some colleges have a separate scholarship application, while others include the scholarship application as part of the college application.
• Be aware of scholarship deadlines. Some are as early as November 1st or December 1st.

National & Local Scholarships-ALL GRADE LEVELS

• Find the Keller ISD scholarship list ABOVE. This list consists of National & Local Scholarships. We have worked very hard to create a centralized list of all the scholarships that students can apply for.
• Most local scholarships will not open until the spring semester, but you will find them at the scholarship list above.

• Most vapes come in many shapes, sizes and flavors.
• Vapes contain nicotine or other addictive substances that can harm adolescent brain development.
• Nicotine and substance exposure during adolescence can impact a student's learning, mood and attention.
• The aerosol from vapes can contain cancer-causing chemicals, metals and ultrafine products.
• A 20mg/ml vape is equivalent to two packs of cigarettes.
