ImplementingSupplemental and Intensive Tiers for Student Success

Class Overview Class Overview

Is your school improvement team or leadership team wanting to best serve students receiving supplemental and intensive instruction? Join us as we guide teams through how to leverage the Supplemental and Intensive Tier Guide to support school improvement.

This course is designed to support implementation of an MTSS framework. Participants will understand how Collaborative Inquiry Questions leads to effective MTSS implementation utilizing the Supplemental and Intensive Tiers guide (v1.0). This guide was recently updated by the Iowa Department of Education. Participants will learn how to use tools within the guide to navigate decisions at the System-Level and Learner-Level. Teams will learn the logic and flow of each step as well as the actions that teams need to take to analyze and refine the way they design and deliver supplemental and intensive interventions. Participants will be provided with a decision-making framework and tools to help accomplish the important work around intervention design and delivery.
