small town vibes
- Trash collection change - Beginning this coming week, curbside trash collection will be on Tuesday for all residential customers. Please call if you have any questions 816-630-0755.
- Based on interest expressed, a Listening Post will be scheduled later this month to discuss neighborhood chickens, we are in the process of confirming the date.
- Voters approved E-911 tax on landlines in 1998, this funding has been diminishing for the last several years as residents cancel their home phones.
- Streetscape work will commence as soon as weather permits. Street paving is planned in Cherry Hills, Route N & Route H within the city limits
- Fire Department took delivery of a new Pumper, the truck is in service, but is awaiting decals. It took about 1 year to receive after the order was placed.
- It has not been an average week for rescue workers with a ropes rescue & plane crash.
