1.) Input substitute requests in ASEOP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Often times when subs are requested less than 24-hours in advanced, the vacancy will not get picked up.

2.) Again, please include this note in ASEOP:

During my absence, students will be expected to log into eCLASS and complete assignments on-line. You WILL NOT be expected to facilitate any digital learning. Your main role will be to manage students. Please see sub plans.

Brian must have all teacher laptop's reimaged by the end of the semester. He will begin to contact you to schedule a time. Begin organizing your files for back-up!

Best way to back-up is to store your files to the H drive. Another option is located on the shared drive:

Sora is a new app that we have access to for ebooks and audio books. I am including this link to a short video tutorial for students & parents in the Coleman Connection this week and for you below. Feel free to share with your students as well as a reminder that this is another way to access books from our library. I have just purchased a WHOLE BUNCH of eBooks and audio books for the app - this includes a lot of books that you are using as class novels. You DO have to check the books out on the app and the loan period is 20 days, and you can also renew in the app if you need it longer. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Starting November 20th, Staff Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)wireless access will require certificate-based authentication. In order to use your BYOD devices on the GCPS network you will need to go through the onboarding process. Attached to this email you will find the onboarding instructions for iOS, Android and Windows devices. The onboarding process is available now to allow GCPS staff adequate time to onboard their BYOD devices. On November 20th, any staff device that has not been taken through this new process will lose access to BYOD until onboarding has been completed.

**Derek will be sending additional information separately about wireless access as well as distribution of our new staff iPADS.**

Rebecca will be transitioning to Discovery High School after Thanksgiving break to become their substitute coordinator. We will miss you, Rebecca, and wish you the best!

The fees for Sunshine Club are now live on My Payments Plus for all staff accounts.

Dues are $20.00

Para's, cafe workers (SNP), clerical and custodial dues are $10.00.

This group will type over the $20.00 and put $10.00.
