Good Morning E.L.M. Families,


Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week. It looks like a possible snow storm is on the way for Monday, so please send your student to school with all of their winter gear on Tuesday. Thank you.

Mon. 1/17 - No School Today in Observance of Martin L. King Jr. Day.

Tues. - 1/18 - Please bring your winter gear to school.

Fri. 1/21 - Half Day of School - Ski Club - After Care/PreK Payments due today.


* Ski Families: Please send your skier into school today with all of their winter & ski gear. Also, they will eat lunch before leaving at 11:35, but packing an extra snack, drink, or money for the snack bar is recommended. Please note that Berkshire East is requiring that everyone follow the masking rule while in the lodge, except when eating. The bus will return at approximately 5:00pm, so we appreciate everyone being prompt in picking up your skier. Please reach out to Coach Facchetti at gfacchetti@savoyelementary.com. Thank you.


* Our last day of school has now been moved to Friday, June 10th.


* We have a small inventory of Emma Miller sweatshirts available in mostly youth and small adult sizes. If you're interested, you may purchase one for $20 and all proceeds go to the good work of our PTG.


* We have a few new staff members at the NBSU office. Cheryl Boillat has been appointed interim Director of Student Services and Michele DeRosier is her new administrative assistant. * February vacation will take place during the week of Feb. 21st - 25th.


A Note from the Nurse:


* Today we welcome Jacquelyn Graves to school as our new nurse. Nurse Jacquelyn comes to us with experience as an intensive care nurse from BMC. She will work with Nurse Barbara today to become oriented with our school and will formally begin on Tuesday. We appreciate your support and patients, especially as she becomes familiar with all of the DESE COVID guidelines and protocols. Nurse Jacquelyn's email is jgraves@savoyelementary.com. She will maintain the hours of 8:30-1:30pm each day. Welcome Nurse Jacquelyn.


Finally, we continue to thank you for being awesome and notifying the school and keeping your student home when your child is ill or has had a positive exposure. We know this is challenging for families, but please know that these efforts are going a long way in keeping exposure low in our school. Thank you.
