Conscious Discipline Book Club
Would you be interested in a book club in Conscious Discipline? The book "Easy to Love, Difficult to Discipline" is a great tool. It teaches seven basic skills for turning conflict into cooperation with children AND adults.
It's possible that we meet every week or every other week to talk about what we learn from this book. The schedule will depend on the groups availability and whether we meet in person or through zoom. The book would be provided to you for free and it would be yours to keep.
"Give children the communication skills they need to solve problems rather than getting them to act or be "nice"."
"Give children lifelong skills they will need to contribute to society rather than getting them to behave in ways that impress others."
"The skill of empathy; True empathy is that you listen to your child's feelings and thoughts without needing to change them."
You can read more about it at consciousdiscipline.com
If interested please make sure to reach out to me either email or phone message if I don't answer.
We are partners with you, we believe in the whole child, and we are here to help you. You are not alone!
I look forward to sharing this space with you when we are able to have families back in the building.
I do hope you stop by and say hi!
