Spelling Bee Champ

Congratulations to Chasen Hampton on winning the Cullman County Spelling Bee tonight! Chasen will move on to compete at the State Spelling Bee on March 16th.

DAR Good Citizen

Congratulations to Gracie Lee on being selected as a DAR Good Citizen! As a school winner she was recognized at the January DAR meeting for her essay submission.

100th Day of School

Students celebrated the 100th day of school this week by dressing up as 100 year olds. Classes enjoyed special snacks and counting activities as they celebrated the milestone.

1st Place - Trees are Terrific

Harper Mitchell won 1st Place in the Arbor Society Poster Contest! Her submission will go on to the state contest.

6th Grade Visit to Upper School Campus

On Tuesday, students in the 6th grade class got the chance to participate in the afternoon session of Spiritual Emphasis Week, tour the campus, and learn more about upper school classes.

Photography Competition

Upper school photography students recently competed in the Photography Division of the ACEA Fine Arts Competition.

Photography 2nd Place

Lila Sellers earned a 2nd place and superior rating award for her photography submission in the ACEA Fine Arts Competition.

PTF Bake Sale

Lower school students satisfied their sugar cravings at Thursday's PTF Bake Sale. They liked it so much that supplies ran out before being able to go to the upper school! The PTF moms will have another sale this week for the upper school students.

Spiritual Emphasis Week

This year's Spiritual Emphasis Week at the upper school was amazing! Content for this special week was based on a theme of "FRIENDS: The One Where They Learn to Love" with lessons about the 5 Love Languages, Discovering Spiritual Gifts, and using the tools God has given to love and minister to others.


Students participated in small group sessions each morning where they learned what their primary love language is, what their spiritual gifts are, and how these things can be used every day to serve in their community, school, and church.


Afternoon sessions included praise and worship time and powerful messages from pastors around the community. On Friday, students had a time of sharing. During this share time they gave testimonies, spoke about what they had learned during the week, encouraged each other, confessed struggles, and prayed for each other. Hearts were moved and decisions to live for God were made. We are thanking God for what He is doing in each of their lives!

Youth Basketball County Tournament

It has been a great season for our youth basketball teams! On Saturday they competed in the Cullman County Tournament. We are so proud of how each team, each player, each coach, and each family member worked together this season to have fun, learn more about basketball, but more importantly, represent Christ in our community.


Congratulations to the 4th grade boys team who has advanced to the finals! They will play for the championship on Saturday, February 17th.

FEBRUARY IS RE-ENROLLMENT MONTH

It's time for current families to complete re-enrollment information for 2024-2025!


During the month of February families who wish to re-enroll and secure their seat(s) for the 2024-2025 school year will need to complete their paperwork for re-enrollment through Gradelink.


You will use Gradelink account to re-enroll. You simply need to log in to your Gradelink account using a web browser (not the app) and click the “Re-Enroll” tab. It will walk you through the current information we have on file and ask you to update any information that has changed or may be missing.

PRAYING PARENT TUESDAYS

We believe in the power of prayer!

Each Tuesday morning parents are invited to join together in prayer.

As students dismiss to class for the day, parents may gather together in the area behind the gym to pray for our students, faculty, and staff.

New Family Open House

We will be hosting an Open House event for new, prospective families on Thursday, February 29th. On this evening we will have tour opportunities available at both the lower and upper school campuses. Please pass this information along to any families you may know that are considering CCS.

Tour Scheduling

Our calendar is filling up fast! We have had a large number of interested families for the 2024-2025 school year. Open enrollment will begin March 1st. Families who would like to get in now for a tour and paperwork can book now to be placed on the waiting list.

The Miss CCS Lioness & Fair Queen Pageants will be on Saturday, March 9th. Pageants will include divisions for all age groups. Watch your email for details coming soon.

5K Resurrection Run
