Back to School Night will be held on 9/22 in person. There will be three 20-minute rotations. Parents must pre-register to attend via Eventbrite and we are kindly asking parents to remain masked throughout the event. Though masks aren't mandatory anymore we would really appreciate it if parents and families would wear a mask. There will be a 10-minute transition between each rotation.

School administration, specials teachers, and partners will create a video that will be distributed to families to provide introductions and information that would generally be covered in the opening introduction meeting. Staff photos will also be placed in the video as a way to provide families with introductions to our staff.

Friday 9/16 – Save the Date for Outdoor Movie Night featuring Vivo!
Playground gates open at 6:00 pm. Movie starts at sundown. Refreshments (pizza, popcorn, snacks, and drinks) will be available for purchase. Closed captions will be provided. This event is open to all; please help spread the word to friends and neighbors. If you can help with set-up, concessions, or clean-up, please email the PTA jowilsonpta@gmail.com. Thank you!

Daisies are grades K-1, Brownies grades 2-3, and Juniors grades 4-5. We need 4 parent volunteers for each troop--2 leaders, one finance, and one sales manager. Contact Larissa Horn (larissahorn@gmail.com) to find out more.

Do you have a fourth-grader? They can get a free annual National Parks Pass by completing a short quiz at https://everykidoutdoors.gov/pass.htm No private information is requested, other than ZIP code, to print out a paper pass. This paper pass can be used at any National Park for a full school year, until Aug. 31, 2023. Usually, the price of an annual pass is $80.

If you visit a site that charges entrance fees per person, the pass admits all children under 16 and up to three adults for free. If your group visits a site that charges vehicle entrance fees, the pass admits all children under 16 and all adults in up to one passenger vehicle. Educators can get one paper pass for each of their fourth-grade students.
