Below are a few things to put on your radar.

• Please be sure to have your child check the Lost and Found in the Commons. Parents can check the Lost and Found by entering through the office. We will also have the items displayed in the Commons during our conference days in February.
• We will be celebrating Valentine's Day with class parties on February 14th. Please see communications from your child's teacher in the coming weeks.
• Westgate has reached our membership goal for the ABC/25 Foundation and will receive a $2,500 grant. Thank you to all our families who have become members. We can't wait to see the opportunities it will bring!

Whose design will be featured on the 2022 ABC/25 Get Burbed Challenge official race shirt and posters? We need your help to decide! Thank you to the 123 district students who submitted a design! The race committee enjoyed reviewing them all and narrowed it down to four finalists! These shirts will be worn by over 500 participants at the ABC/25 Get Burbed Challenge on April 30, 2022. Winter is here! Please be sure your child comes to school in warm clothes. Students need to have boots and snow pants to play in the snow. We will be outside as long as the temperature is above zero (windchill included).

Please note, temperatures can fluctuate throughout the day. It is better to send students with snow pants and boots each day so they are prepared to go outside.

As a reminder, throughout the school year, you can always enroll your child in or unenroll your child from the SHIELD testing process. Please click the links below and fill out the form if you would like to enroll or unenroll your child.

The last day to enroll a student in SHIELD testing is Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

Breakfast is NOW available for students daily. There is no charge for breakfast, as all school meals are fully funded by the USDA. If your student is interested in participating in the breakfast program, please have them enter the front door and breakfast will be served from 8:45 a.m. to 9:05 a.m. in the Commons. Due to supply chain issues, the menu may change daily and will include items such as cereal, fruit, and milk. We look forward to serving your students and giving them a healthy start to their school day!
