Chandler Early College High School Vol 1 Issue 7
Scaringelli's Segment
After a week of finals SPRING BREAK HAS ARRIVED! Hopefully our students and staff will take some well deserved time to spend with family and relax. Students return on March 28, 2023. Are you going anywhere for spring break? Baseball game? Skiing...water or snow? Please share your pictures with me so we can create a collage of our students to display.
Upon our return from spring break, Ms. Ramirez and I will be meeting with students to go over next year's schedule. Please be on the look out for registration forms. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call either of us.
Ms. Ramirez and I will also be looking at credits earned and will determine if a recommendation for summer school is needed to keep your child on track for graduation. If you would like your child to attend summer school, please contact Ms. Ramirez so she can do a recommendation.
Fall CGCC course schedules have been released. If your child is interested in taking a college class next year, please have them see Ms. Ramirez.
I truly hope you have a wonderful spring break and we thank you for all of your support!
Janeen Scaringelli

The front office will be closed for all of spring break. It will reopen on March 27, 2023. Have a great break!
Students needing Tylenol at school must have parent consent. Every year the OLR needs to be completed. If you have not filled out the OLR, please make sure to get a hard copy from our front office.
Attendance
Please make sure to call the attendance line (480.224.3067) to excuse your child if they are feeling ill within 24 hours. If your child is going to be tardy or leave early, you can either send a text to your child or call the attendance line.
Silver Apple Award
Google defines a teacher as a person who helps students acquire knowledge, competence, or virtue.
Our three teachers definitely fit that description, but they are so much more to our students. As a small school, students get close with their teachers and our teachers look after their students as if they were their own. They make the time to listen to their students and really hear what they are saying. They encourage them to get their classes completed and to come to school every day. All our teachers use their prep hour to tutor students that are struggling. Did you know that our teachers rotate having lunch in their room so no student would have to eat alone?
We are truly fortunate to have three amazing, multi-talented teachers to take care of our students. Channel 3 News and Arizona Bank & Trust sponsor the Silver Apple Award to honor outstanding Arizona teachers. If you would like to show your support and appreciation of our teachers, have your child fill out a nomination form.
Crochet Club
We went from creating straight lines to making hats in less than a month. Well, at least the experienced ones did! As for us newbies, we are still patiently trying to create something beautiful!
