It has been such a pleasure to be your Principal this year, and I’m looking forward to another great year in 2023-24! We are already hard at work planning events for next year, and many of our teachers were at district professional development this week, getting ready for next year’s ELA and Math instruction. Our students showed so much growth this year, and we are looking forward to continuing that growth next year!
Thank you so much for your continued involvement and support of your children. We truly have the best community here at Whitman!

Friday, August 18th: Incoming Kindergarten students play date, 2-4 pm
Saturday, August 19th: Community Care Day Playground Clean up, 10:00 - 12:00
Friday, August 25th: Family Ice Cream Social and meet your teacher, 2:30 - 3:30 pm
Tuesday, August 29th: First Day of School for Grades 1-5!
Thursday, August 31st-September 1st: Kindergarten students attend in small groups–stay tuned for more information about which day your child will attend
September 5th: First day for full Kindergarten classes
September 7th, 5:30 - 7:00 pm: Back To School Night
